This tattoo I call the Fear Dragon

The dragon is loosely in the figure eight lucky in some cultures but here representing infinity, that it will go on forever if left unchecked (like fear it self does)
The figures in the claws of the dragon are your dreams and hopes, if you do not master fear, they will fall victim to it. As the saying goes “being gripped by fear” is represented hear literally.  But as a tattoo it symbolizes that you are the master of fear as it is from you (as on your skin it belongs to you) so I would get this as a symbol of over coming fear and owning it as yours, taming the might power of the dragon and using it to grab hold of your dreams and support and protect them instead of strangle them.
