Maori Tattoo Patterns Koru Bands

Here are set of Maori Tattoo Patterns using the Koru shape. I have made up and image the explains the basic Maori Koru tattoo shapes as they are used here. In this set of Maori band tattoo designs i have made a number of variation so hopefully there is something you like in the set. I’ll start with the explanation image then work down the page with the rest of the set of band designs. This set of designs is a bit more structured that I normally like to draw I prefer stuff that is a bit more organic looking, but I wanted to do a set of patterns that could easily be expanded around a an arm or a leg as a tattoo.
